WOMEN OF NAZARÉ

Inspired in my memories of visits of Nazaré when it was still a traditional fishing village before it turned into a famous beach resort and giant waves chasing. Also inspired to some degree in photography by Artur Pastor. I choose a monochromatic composition in blues to lure the feelings of these ladies who had a life of work, loss and survival. Acrylic on canvas, 36×36″, stretched, ready to hang.
